AUDI ADAS Test Drive Checklist

IMPORTANT: Always be careful of traffic conditions and safety around the vehicle

                        Your test vehicle may not be equipped with all safety systems

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go Function:

• Vehicle speed must be between 0 – 155.34 mph / 0 to 250 km/h.
• Verify system regulates the speed and the interval to the vehicle ahead by automatically accelerating and braking

Active Lane Assist (ALA): 

• Vehicle speed must be above around 37.28 mph /60 km/h
• Verify system helps vehicle steer back into the lane by gently correcting vehicle and steering wheel vibration.

Audi Side Assist (ASA)

• Verify yellow LED indicator lights up in exterior mirror detects other vehicles in the blind spot WITHOUT turn signal engaged AND indicator becomes brighter and flashes multiple times WITH turn signal engaged!

Park Assist (PA):

• Verify, when reversing into a parking space, the park assist system performs all the necessary steering movements – this applies equally to both parallel and end-on parking spaces.

Park Assist (PA) with Surround View:

• Verify, when reversing into a parking space, system provides variety of views on the large onboard monitor, including a top-down view of the vehicle’s direct surroundings.

Speed Limit Display (SLD):

• Verify system presents current speed in the instrument cluster or on the optional head-up display.

Pre-Sense Safety System (PSSS): Verify system performs following actions:

• Tensions seatbelts and provides warning signal
• Provides warning jerk with brief braking
• Provide auto-partial braking and speed is auto-reduced by 24.8 MPH/40 km/h
