BLIS ® Blind Spot Information System w/ Cross Traffic Alert:

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings when vehicles appear in rear and adjacent lanes.
  • While vehicle is in reverse verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings when other vehicle(s) approach from side or rear.

Lane Keeping System (LKS):

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings when test vehicle approaches or crosses lane markers

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking:

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings when test vehicle detects a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian when moving forward.

Evasive Steering Assist (ESA):

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings when test vehicle ESA system identifies a vehicle ahead and helps maneuver vehicle and/or applies active braking.

Reverse Brake Assist (RBA):

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings when test vehicle detects a collision when moving in reverse.

Enhanced Active Park Assist:

  • Verify vehicle controls steering during parallel and/or perpendicular parking maneuvers.
  • IMPORTANT: Driver needs to control acceleration, braking and shifting.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps:

  • Beginning at 25 MPH and at night, verify vehicle’s headlights automatically toggle between high and low beams with oncoming vehicles.

Hill Descent Control:

  • Between 2-12 MPH verify vehicle continually adjusts braking pressure to help control slippage and maintain a constant preset speed while you are going down a steep grade.

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage (FULL SIZE SUV’s):

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings for vehicles that pull a large trailer when other vehicle(s) approach from side or rear.
  • IMPORTANT: System ONLY supports conventional trailers and automatically turns off if you select a fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailer.
  • Trailer dimensions up to 9 feet wide (measured at the trailer front) and up to 33 feet long can be input into the system.

Pro Trailer Backup Assist™:

  • Verify system provides visual, audible and haptic warnings that allow the system camera to track trailer position and allow you to simply rotate he knob left or right in the direction you want the trailer to go while the system controls the steering wheel.

Ford 360 Camera System:

  • Verify system presents 360-degree view of surroundings from four (4) cameras located in the grille, tailgate, and each sideview mirror.
